Reassign a role
Before you delete a user role Entity assigned to users to define their access permissions to applications., assign all active employees that are linked to the role that is to be deleted to a new role.
Role assignment does not impact telephony data but does impact other data elements.
Before you begin
Procedure

Go to User Management Module that an administrator uses to create a profile for each employee in their organization. > Security > User Access Rights.

As the View, select All Current.

Select the user whose role requires changing.

Click Edit Access Rights.

Under Role Name, select an appropriate role and scope for the employee going forward. Clear the box next to the role that is to be deleted.

Click Save.

Repeat steps 3 through 6 for each user that needs to be assigned to a different role.
