Workflow: Clean up roles

To remove obsolete or redundant user roles in the system cleanly, reassign users to new roles before you delete any assigned roles.

Workflow 

  1. Review role assignments

    Use the Reports application to review the current role assignments.

  2. Reassign a role

    Prior to deleting a user role, assign all active employees linked to the role that is to be deleted to a new role.

  3. Delete a role

    You can delete the user roles in the system that are no longer needed.
